I am a
geek.

I hold a Bachelor's Degree in both meteorology and computer science.

I am currently working as a software developer having done a major career change. In a previous life, I was a broadcast meteorologist (point at the weather map and SMILE) for over 16 years. Yep, I'm the one that would interrupt your favorite program during severe weather. I MAKE NO APOLOGIES!!

Several years ago, I thought it would be a good idea to diversify a bit. I began chipping away at a computer science degree while working full time and starting a family. I was crazy, but I finished.

Why put up a web site? Well, one reason was to learn more about PHP, MySQL, HTML and Javascript. I also thought it would be nice to have a place to show others what I've done. And of course, meteograms are just plain awesome.

I maintain that Berkeley Breathed is a genius.
